Let your van work for you
Our dealership specializes in buying and selling campervans and we just partnered with rental operators on the West Coast to help offset the cost of van ownership for our customers. Buy a van from us, store it with our rental operators, they rent it out for you, and you make money on the rentals to offset your van costs.
How does this program work?
What does this cost me?
You will have the normal costs of ownership of a campervan (i.e. loan payment, insurance, registration), but those costs will be offset with the rental income from our rental operators. Our rental operators will split the revenue from your van 50/50, but any mileage revenue goes to the van owner. You will still have maintenance cost on the van, but for any damage caused by a renter there will be an insurance policy in place through the rental agency. Each rental operator is unique and costs will vary.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I GENERATE?
Rental Example:
8 days rented at $245 a night = $1,960 (50/50 split with rental operator)
Renter drove 575 miles at $.55 a mile = $316.25
Total revenue to Campervan Owner for 8 days of rental = $1,296.26
(Based on historical data from our fleet, we have seen rental rates as high as 80% during the high season)
CAN YOU STILL USE THE VAN?
Of course! Just block out your vacations with our rental operators and they will make sure the van is ready to go and clean for your trip.
